hey!

i just had the best time ever last time. me, tara, megan, and eric all went to a play. it was TWO AND A HALF HOURS!! i was about to wet my seat. the theater was so retarded, they made an announcement about their "no candy" policy or whatever, so tara asks everybody in the audience if they want a mentos!!! so we ate mentos through the whole thing. the acting wasn't bad, but the script simply sucked.

after that, we went to blockbuster and rented "requiem for a dream". okay, if you haven't seen it, don't watch it alone. it's not blood-and-gore or a slasher movie or anything. it's about four people who are so totally addicted to drugs that they'll do anything to get them. it was really messed up. anyway, josh came over to watch it with us. i got so pissed off. (well, theoretically. not really.) tara has a bed and a loveseat in her room, and this huge-ass TV. when josh came over, i was already lying down. (it was like, one o'clock in the morning when we put it in.) that guy is so hilarious. we just watched the credits roll by and we said nothing. you just need to.....THINK for awhile after you watch that movie. seriously, you would NEVER even want to TOUCH drugs after that movie. if the director was after to scare the piss out of people with the EDITED version, mission accomplished. i was scared shitless.

it was a sight to see. all these people, from age 13 to 22 basically piled together like a litter of puppies, watching people get high. it was actually hilarious when you think about it.

then i had to wake up at the butt-crack of dawn to go babysit the triplets. we had to drive all around creation in a chevy tahoe with three screaming four-year-olds, a puppy, and a turtle. the dog knocked over the turtle (it was in a bucket) about three times and it went all over the car. we had to pull over and i had to put the smelly thing back. then we had to go to the pet store (the dog had to come in, too, of course) and by some doggie treats and turtle food. then we went to the mall, and we had to leave both animals in the car. those poor things. i'm surprised they're not dead.

so then we drive to tara's grandparents' house. i take a power-nap for about an hour and a half. (i swear, it only felt like twenty minutes) i kept halfway-waking up, you know, where you can hear people but you're not awake. they were like "poor elizabeth. she was up all last night with josh watching that movie. she's really zonked!! tara, why did you rent that movie??" (elizabeth is my middle name. everyone else on the face of this earth calls me it, but i prefer my first name, alexa, better.) tara was like "MOM! we all wanted to watch it!!!" it was pretty funny. i was like "uhhh....." and fell asleep again.

one of the great joys in my life is going 80 MPH in a 50 MPH zone. that's what i like about tara. she's not afraid to argue with a cop and then flirt like mad with him to avoid getting tickets. i swear to bob, we nearly were in wrecks about five times.

and i have bad news. sort of. i have this humongous paper due tomorrow, and i just finished writing it at tara's. she helped me, lol. so i was pulling out of her driveway not realizing i still had the paper on top of my car!! so i got home and was like WHERE THE HELL IS MY PAPER?!?!?! then me printer broke, so i had to rewrite it and save it on disk to print it out somewhere tomorrow. that kind of sucked, if you ask me.

i had a good/bad day. but more good than bad.
