Hey...get this! The newspaper wrote a preview for the show and look what it said!

Anne Shirley, played here by 13 year old Alexa Elizabeth Gale, is the heroine of the story. Anne's arrival at Green Gables is a grand, though certainly not the last "mistake" that marks her foible-filled life with the Cuthbert family. This is a finely woven tale with sharply drawn characters. A "period piece" set in the farm country of Prince Edward Island, it promises eye appeal as a complement to its sure heart appeal.

Isn't that the most? To say the least! LOL.

The newspaper photographer is coming tonight to rehearsal to get some pictures for the story. We finally got the set up last night. (Well, most of it.) But tonight we have to get in full costume and makeup for the photographer. I think the costume I'm going to wear in the picture is my "white dress with puffed sleeves." I'm just letting you know...I'd rather die a slow, horrible death than wear that dress for a half-hour. I think I'll call it My Costume From Hell. Yes. That will suffice.

I got my hair done yesterday. It's already red naturally, but the director told me she wanted a brighter red. So now it's bright, BRIGHT red. You can't miss it. I can practically stop traffic. And since the picture will be in color, You can bet it's going to be very weird seeing an albino girl in a white dress with bright red hair to top it all off. And I bet you ten dollars that the director will have me posed like I'm telling a story or something, looking all dreamily out into the future or some crap like that. And when I do that, it's my instinct to widen my eyes, mainly for the whole naive-little-girl effect. So now i'm going to be a bug-eyed, albino, bright-redhead, and extremely uncomfortable in the Costume From Hell.

Tonight I have to do that whole spit-thing. Maybe I haven't mentioned it before, but I have to spit on the girl playing Josie Pye when she pisses me off. And tonight that's the scene we're doing tonight.

Oh Jesus, if they take the picture of me spitting in her face, I'm going to die. Absolutely die.

(But if they do, I'll scan it and put it on here so you can laugh at it.)

Today's Line From Hell: "Oh, this is the most tragical moment of my entire life!" Excuse me, but is "tragical" even a word? I just feel weird saying it.
