well, today was my mom's birthday. hmm....let me set this up a bit. my mom is this big-time local actress. she was miss teen --mystate-- (lol) in 1980 and she was in the miss america pageant. she did broadway and off-broadway shows in new york and california. i knew about all this, right? right. so we're over at my grandmother's house eating dinner for my mom when they suggest, "hey! why don't we pop in your mom's movie?"

MOVIE?!?!?!? WHERE DID THIS COME FROM? MY MOM HAS A MOVIE?!?!?!?!?

yeah, she does. it was made in the mid-eighties, and it's called grambling's white tiger. it was made for TV but then it came out on video or something like that. so i started freaking out and she was like, "yeah, honey, i belong to the screen actors' guild. you didn't know that?" NO, MOM!! I DIDN'T!!

jeeeeeez. then we watched celebrity weakest link last night and she had met half the people on there, ans she was really good friends with about two of them. okay, so tell me: why has she never mentioned any of this before? i could be permanently emotionally scarred from this!! i have to live in my mother's shadow!!! thanks, mom.

aaagghh, don't get me wrong. my mom's the coolest person ever.

so anyway, besides that. i've been continually watching sixteen candles. i think it's some form of mind-control....i'm suddenly obsessed with it or something. i also learned the choreography to my favorite song in hte musical i'm in..."annie." guess who i am? hmm....just guess. yeah. so i have all this choreography stuck in my head now. it's getting so annoying.

well, i have to go eat some birthday cake before my grandmother kills me.
