merry christmas, hannukah, kwanzaa, new years, and everything in between! i've been back a forth from everywhere in the past week. i finally got a DVD player and finally, by the grace of god, got the stupid thing hooked up. i've watched four DVDs so far and i think that it's the best invention ever. tara got on too and she had to buy a whole new modulator to get it to work. i just had to buy an audio system. either way, it runs up a bill.

i'm having a party tonight. i've been cleaning all day. i'm going to two parties on new years eve, which is tomorrow. one at heather's house, and one at jane's. i bought some of those cheesy fake eyelashes, and they're metallic fuschia, so i'm going to wear them along with a purple streak in my hair. i've got my outfit all laid out.

anyway, let's see what else has happened. i finished memorizing all my lines for the musical and i bought a binder to put my script in. yay! no more papers flying everywhere when i try to turn a page. i watched ferris bueller's day off last night on DVD. i think that the last time i watched it i was either high/drunk/highly delusional/asleep, because i did not remember half of it, and i LOVE that movie.

awwww. my cat just jumped up on my lap. her name is cleo, i don't think i've ever mentioned her before. i have another cat named ginger, but if she ever jumped on me, i think i would die instantly. she practically weighs more than i do. i'm afraid that one night she'll jump on me while i'm asleep and suck all the air out of me, then go waddling around the house laughing like mr. tinkles. ginger is evil.

aside from my cat's demonic possession, life is just peachy. now if you'll excuse me, i have to go get this cat of my lap before i can finish cleaning. TTYL.
