Remember how I said yesterday wasn't exciting? I lied. Last night, my mom drove me over to my friend Dalya's house for a party. Around 10:45, she came to pick me back up. So we're driving home from the 'burbs, and we're driving through a red light. Lah dee dah....SCREEEEEECCCH BAANG! That was the sound of us hitting another car at 60 MPH. Another car was making a right turn and wasn't looking, leaving us to hit her, but my mom tried to swerve into the other lane. Unfortunately, there was a car coming and it wold have killed us. So we just scraped the side of her car with the front of ours. So the entire front of our car is ruined. Unfortunately, the other girl's car is almost totaled, because it got smashed in on one side. And we made impact on my side of the car. Wheeee. What a way to wake you up. We got out (it was raining, wheee) and looked at our cars. Ugh. The other girl was only about 18, and she was about to have a stroke. She thought we were going to press charges or something. She was new in town. Heh. So I was nice and let her borrow my cell phone to call her parents. Unfortuantely, I didn't realize she was going to make an international call to Japan. (Say it with me: wheeee.) We waited about ten minutes for the police to show up, and when he did, he needed me to give a report as the only witness to the accident. Hoo-ah. If my mom had really pissed me off that night, she would have been toast. Her insurance was in my hands, baby. So that was fun and all, we left the scene around 11:20 after calling my dad who was on a camping trip with my step-brother in the WhereTheFuck Woods. But the car was drivable, and we were able to get home okay. But ponder this: in one week, I have managed to fall off a wall, flood my mother's office (actually I didn't, but it was really gross all the same), and be in a car where the impact was on my side. Fffuuuuuuuunnn! Wwwwhhheeeeeeeeee! But today was been quite uneventful, thank god. All I've done is go shopping at this new store downtown and download music. My cat keeps jumping up in my lap while I'm sitting at the computer. And when I throw her off, she jumps back up. And when I put her out of the room, she meows like "If you don't let me in right now I'm going to cry and cry and cry so pitifully that you won't be able to resist it and you'll let me back in!" She's learned from the other cats well. Ginger was bitching at me about an hour ago. I was in the kitchen, and she was sittnig near the food bowl, and kept looking up at me. She'd come over to me, rub my leg and cat-bitch up a storm about how I haven't fed her yet today and OH MY GOD SHE WILL STARVE TO DEATH IF I DON'T FEED HER RIGHT THIS SECOND! Cats can be sooo deceptive. Maybe it's even sadder that I personify them and comply to their every feline demand. © alexa last / nextThe counter keeps breaking and pissing me off, so NO MORE COUNTER!
